This policy explains what information Cline's Custom Meats (“we,” “us”) collects through clinescustommeats.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Event requests. When you submit our Event Request Form we collect your first and last name and email address, and any optional details you choose to give us: phone number, company, event style, the nature of the event, date, start and end times, number of guests, additional notes, how you heard about us, and whether you would like news and updates from us.
Website analytics. If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — for example the pages viewed, the type of device and browser, the approximate location, and the site that referred you. If you decline, Google Analytics does not set analytics cookies.
Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and keep it secure.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to respond to your event request, plan and quote your event, and communicate with you about it. If you check “Sign up for news and updates,” we may also send you occasional news and updates, and you can ask us to stop at any time. We use analytics information to improve the website, and technical information to operate and protect it.
Cookies and similar technologies
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Your choice is saved in a small cookie on your device so we don’t ask again. Google Analytics cookies are set only if you choose “Accept.”
Our accessibility tool (the round button at the bottom right of each page) lets you adjust text size, contrast and other display settings. Those preferences are saved in your browser on your own device and are not sent to us.
The maps showing our locations are provided by Google Maps. When they load, Google may collect information and set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run this website — such as our website hosting and data storage providers and Google (Analytics and Maps) — and only as needed to provide those services, or when required by law.
Links to other sites
Our online store, upcoming events, Butcher Club and gift cards are provided through Square, and we link to our social media pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them.
How long we keep information
We keep event request information for as long as we need it to respond to you and for our normal business records. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics data-retention settings.
Your choices
You can decline analytics cookies in the banner, change your choice later by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser, or use Google’s Google Analytics opt-out add-on. To ask about, correct or delete the information you have given us, email us at clinescustommeats@gmail.com.
Children’s privacy
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. No method of transmitting or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date above.
